Kashima Coat Stanchions
Developed by the Japanese Miyaki Company and used exclusively by FOX on cycling products, Kashima Coat offers enhanced lubrication and durability with its harder surface.
- Lower friction compared to typical hard anodizing with higher abrasion resistance
- Slight increase to fork smoothness and sensitivity
Bypass Channels
Bypass channels dramatically increase air volume in lower legs to reduce unintended pressure ramping, allowing forks to reach full travel with less force all while recirculating oil throughout the lowers.
- Reduced pressure ramping makes for smoother suspension action
- Oil recirculates to continuously lubricate inner seals and bushings for a smoother ride
