Frequently asked questions
32 TC can accommodate up to 700 × 50mm tires without a fender, and up to 700 × 45mm when a fender is installed.
The 32 Taper Cast is strictly designed for 700c (29”) wheels. The shaping of lower legs is such that where a 650b tire would sit is the narrowest point.
32 Taper Cast features drop-bar flat-mount brake caliper compatibility and supports 160mm to 180mm rotors.
32 Taper Cast is available in either 40mm or 50mm travel options. If your frame geometry is not suspension corrected, then we recommend the 40mm travel option. If your frame is suspension corrected, then the 50mm option is most likely best.
45mm rake will make your bike handle tight corners better but be somewhat less stable at high speeds. 50mm rake will make your bike feel more stable at high speeds but will make low speed turning somewhat more sluggish. Contact your frame manufacturer for additional information.
