A bit more complicated, 100% worth it.

Bought a full size truck pad for my '14 Titan. It wasn't the simplest set up, lots of adjustments and straps. However, the ability to optimize the fit was awesome. It took a bit more time and care, but 100% worth it. My favorite features are the large, adjustable latch/camera window and the ability to close my tonneau cover completely without removing the pad.

Velcro on inserts doesn’t line up

The velcro strips on all three of the inserts don’t line up with the velcro on the tailgate pad.

Solid once on

Once it is on It’s great - you can get a very fitted fit to any tailgate. However, it’s a pain in the butt at first to install. Once you do it a couple times it should be ok. Not the best if you plan on taking it on and off a lot but if it’s for a couple weeks at a time or for the summer then yeah it’s solid. Bed cover closes down on it perfectly. Looks sharp.

Might look elsewhere.

My family and I were on a 2 week road trip with our camper trailer, headed to the big national parks, and the bed of the truck was crammed with gear including some basic family cruisers. While at a stop in Utah, we saw a tailgate protector in a bike shop and thought that would help with the gear location situation. And it did, wonderfully I might add. BUT, I have to say, FOX, you should have known better in your design. The forks on all three bikes immediately rubbed through the material and etched the paint down to the metal on a brand new Ram 2500 diesel. My dream truck that cost more money that I have ever spent on a car in my life and a dang bed cover for bikes damaged my paint and put small dents in the tailgate because the material was too thin. The easy solution would have been to add a harder, stiffer layer between the soft felt and the heavy nylon outer material to prevent that from happening. WE did not travel off-road, strictly highways and only for 2 weeks. It's been sitting in the garage ever since with no plans to use it again and wasted money, unless I modify it somehow. My advice to others is to either look at another design or be prepared to modify your product so the metal on the bike won't rub through so easily. I have a ton of FOX gear, it's why bought it, none of them have ever let me down like this thing did.
