Kashima COAT MAIN PISTON & BODY
Developed by the Japanese Miyaki Company and used exclusively in the bike industry by FOX, Kashima Coat provides enhanced lubrication and a harder wearing surface.
- Lower friction compared to typical hard anodizing with higher abrasion resistance
- Slight increase to shock smoothness and sensitivity
PRESSURE BALANCED DAMPER
Pressure balancing maintains a low positive pressure in the damper allowing a much faster damper response time to rider inputs.
- Positive pressure in the damper prevents cavitation and alleviates oil aeration
- Greater control of the rebound stroke leads to more predictability and greater rider confidence
