Frequently asked questions
Ensure seat clamp is not over-torqued and that seat post collar has been cleaned and greased within the last 25 hours riding time. If that doesn’t resolve it, remove the seat and top half of the seat clamp to gain access to the air valve. Using a shock pump, increase air pressure until the seat post fully extends.
Basic collar service is due every 25 hours, intermediate service is due at 125 hours, and full service is due every 300 hours.
The basic collar service is very easy to perform. The intermediate service is more complex but achievable for most relatively experienced home mechanics. The full service is more complex and best left to professionals or extremely experienced home technicians.
Transfer Neo wireless has a battery and controller located on the seat collar which takes up some vertical space (stack height), meaning travel needed to be reduced somewhat to compensate.
Factory Series FOX products feature genuine Kashima coating, a proprietary hard anodized surface treatment that is extremely low-friction and durable. Performance Series Elite FOX products feature a standard black anodized coating.
