The Rigs of Rampage - Men's Bike Checks

Another year. Another migration of the world’s best big mountain and freeride athletes to one of the most iconic riding regions on the planet: Utah, USA.

Now in its 25th edition, the marquee event returns to where it all began. Twenty-five years later, the stakes are higher, the lines are bigger, and the riding continues to evolve. With the iconic venue back in play, riders will look to put their mark on the mountain, find new lines, and push what’s possible further than ever before. With the Men's event coming up after days of digging, let's look over some of our favorite custom FOX builds.

Johny Salido's Transition Bottlerocket

Inspired by one of the local old tractors that used to be housed close to his childhood home, Johny's Transition Bottlerocket is an homage to his roots, and we can't wait to see him back in the desert after his last appearance in 2019. He is hungry for it, and his lines should showcase a mix of gnarly rock faces and big hits.

FOX 40 Fork: 105PSI, 1HSR, 1LSR, 2HSC, 2LSC

Fox Float X2 Shock: 300PSI, 1HSR, 1LSR, 2HSC, 2LSC

"I like my bike to feel super stiff and slow for this kind of ride with the mix of steep terrain and big hits. I'll probably run a couple PSI less in my tires to gain a bit of grips while keep my suspension setup focused on supporting the big compressions on course"

Reed's Yeti SB165: DH and Single Crown

Being no stranger to the hills of Utah, Reed is back again to take on the 25th edition of the event. As a local to the area, we know he's up for the task and has big plans for this year's course. He set up two Yeti SB165's this year, one ad a dual crown build and one as a single crown build, we are still awaiting to see which one he picks to compete with but regardless, they both look great.

Fox 40 Fork: 95 PSI, 1HSR, 1LSR, 2HSC, 2LSC

Fox 38 Fork:100 PSI, 1HSR, 1LSR, 2HSC, 2LSC

Fox Float X2 Shocks: 270 PSI, 2HSR, 2LSR, 3HSC, 6LSC

"I have both single & dual crown bike built for this year's Rampage. Wanted to get the line built first and see what bike feels more comfortable on it! Time will tell which one I’ll choose!"
