Podium Sweeps in Baja

Podium Sweeps in Baja

The Baja 1000 is one of the most coveted motorsports races. Serving as the 4th and final race of the SCORE International series, it has become a true testing ground. Not just of equipment and vehicles, but of the people enduring the nail biting racing tension that can extend past 24 hours at times. Of the nearly 161 vehicles to start on Friday, only 94 managed to cross the finish line in Ensenada, Mexico. FOX continued its heritage of racing domination with podium sweeps and victories across the various classes.

FOX TAKES OVERALL WIN WITH MENZIES & POLVOORDE

Taking the top of the box were Fox's athletes Christopher Polvoorde and Bryce Menzies, piloting their Mason AWD Trophy Truck to an overall win, finishing in 15:48:23.

Starting off the race, Polvoorde fresh off his top spot in qualifying, led the field through the day into the night. Accompanied by FOX's Motorsports Tuner, Mike Kim, the two worked together to ensure a smooth hand off to Menzies and his co-pilot Oren Anderson who would drive through the night to arrive victorious in Ensenada.

Motorsports tuner Mike Kim became the 2nd FOX employee in the company's history to earn a Baja 1000 overall win while employed. Mike is no stranger to off-road racing having raced multiple events during his career, but this one will be one for the top shelf.

Following closely behind the dominant Polvoorde/Menzies duo, Luke McMillin and legend Rob MacCachren, drove their Trophy Truck to a second place overall. And rounding out the Podium, Andy and Dan McMillin charged forward in a Mason AWD Trophy Truck to land in 3rd place overall.

MACCACHREN & GROOM PUT LIVE VALVE ON TOP

Cayden MacCachren, son of legendary racer Rob MacCachren, has established himself as a dominant force in the UTV class. Partnered with Method Race Wheels own Ethan Groom, the two piloted a Polaris RZR to the top of the UTV class. This marked a clean sweep of the SCORE International series for the RZR Factory racing team for the second year in a row.

Following closely behind were fellow Polaris RZR drivers Brandon Sims (2nd Place UTV) and Max Eddy Jr (3rd Place UTV). All cars were equipped with FOX's Live Valve suspension system marking yet another victory for the race proven technology.

15 Years of Raptor Racing

For 2025, our partners at Ford celebrated 15 years of the Raptor family being a force in the off-road world. FOX has partnered with Ford for the entirety of the Raptor lineage, providing exponentially better suspension on each platform.

Ford Racing took on this year's Baja 1000 with the entire Raptor family line up. Two F-150 Raptors, 1 Bronco Raptor, and 1 Ranger Raptor. All Raptors, racing and otherwise, are equipped with FOX's live Valve system that constantly adapts to the terrain providing unparalleled control and performance.

Piloting an F-150 Raptor, Brad Lovell and Jason Scherer took the win in the Stock Full Class. Vaughn Gittin Jr., Loren Healy, and Bailey Campbell piloted their Bronco Raptor to a win the Stock Mid Size Class.
